Guests may not be pre-registered and are required to register on-site. Guests are also required to present photo identification and be accompanied by a buyer from your company to register on-site.
How many guests can I bring to the show?
Each registered company may have one up to 4 guests at a cost of $35.00 each.
If I am already pre-registered, do I need to bring a copy of my business license to pick up my badge?
No. A copy of the license was required documentation when you pre-registered. We will only require a photo ID at the time you claim your badge. However, it is suggested that you bring additional copies of your license as some exhibitors may request a copy for their records if a purchase is made.
Is smoking allowed in or around the tent?
No, new City laws prohibit smoking inside the tent or within 20 feet of an entrance or exit.
What are the Buyer registration requirements?
GJX is a “wholesale to the lapidary trade only” show. Buyers must be engaged in the gem and jewelry industry (or its related products). To register for the show you will need to provide the following:
a) Copy of company’s tax identification or exemption certificate or business/resale license*,OR b) JBT Number
*Note: If your business/resale license or tax ID certificate does not reflect that your company is engaged in the gem and jewelry industry (or its related products),or if your state does not issue business/resale licenses, you must provide copies of invoices for the purchases of gemstones, jewelry, precious metals or lapidary equipment, made within the last year. Each invoice must reflect the purchase of multiple items.
What are the show dates and times?
February 5th through February 10th, 2019. The show hours are Tuesday thru Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. No buyers will be admitted after 3:00 pm on closing day, Sunday, February 5th, 2019.
What are your policies regarding children attending the show?
No children under the age of 14 are allowed in the GJX Show, including infants.
What are your policies regarding pets?
No pets are allowed other than assistance animals. TCC.
What is the dress code for the GJX show?
As this is a professional trade show, dress should be no less than business casual. .
Will I receive registration confirmation from GJX?
To receive confirmation that you are pre-registered for the show, please provide a valid email address or fax number along with a request.
Will my badge be mailed to me?
No, badges are not mailed. If you have pre-registered, your badge will be available at the GJX PreRegistered Buyers desk. You will need to present photo ID in order to receive your badge.
Will there be a shuttle service to other shows?
Shuttle service is available across the street at the Tucson Convention Center.
